Write & Fold & Secret
A few images of my piece at the group show Private Spaces hosted by Zoe’s Place from 13th to 17th April 2011. A bit more about the show in this interview. My work, called Write & Fold & Secret, was made of a notebook where you could leave a message to me and the cards with a website address. The message on the photos below is the only one I am aware of – it was read to me and then I decide to take picture of it.
On Satruday 22nd January 2011 from 12pm to 6pm I will be doing a project called Body Drawing for Bookworms during the Art Book Fair in North London. I will have with me a little sketchbook with drawings of reading people and anyone visiting the fair can choose one drawing to be done in approx. 10 minutes time on desirable part of the arm. Looking forward to see you all bookworms there!
Location of the Art Book Fair: 176 Prince of Wales Road, London NW5 3PT (Click to see a map)
Body Drawing for Bookworms is accompanying a stall of X marks the BĂśkship which shows new work from independent publishers. Please visit the BĂśkship blog to find out more about presented publications and artists.
Greasy P spam poetry
Two samples of Greasy P spam poetry [in progress] {stay tuned}
Greasy was a part of the art event called Debate in Speakerâs Corner, Hyde Park, Sun 21st Nov 2010. The event statement said that artists work will reflect on, initiate or partake in debate. Artists will engage with the site, the participants and the bystanders. We will stand by, carry or embody our work. We will not hide behind a glass of champagne but instead engage and respond to a pre-existing world that is loud, opinionated and in your face – a place that cares little for ambiguity and polished rhetoric.
Around 15 artists took part in the project; Greasy was showing there a first stage of his spam poetry compilation â a photo-album with written scraps of spam poetry and photos.
In total Greasy P printed out 51 photos during the Homeless Gallery group show. All images will be used to create another artwork. Big thank you goes to all who took part in the project.
